Each donation is greatly appreciated and directly benefits the seriously ill children that will attend Dragonfly Forest and who, along with their families, will participate in year-round programs free of charge. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Contributions to Dragonfly Forest can be made in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. If your gift is a tribute to someone, please include a note telling us the name of the individual or family member you wish to notify and his or her address, along with your own name and address.  You can send a tribute or memorial gift online.

Gifts of Securities

Gifts of securities are a great way to support Dragonfly Forest while providing you with a tax deduction for the current, full market value of the securities. There are three main types of securities that can be donated to the camp: publicly traded stock in a corporation, shares in a mutual fund or bonds. Please be advised that it is the policy of Dragonfly Forest to sell the securities immediately upon transfer. Gifts in Kind

We are fortunate to receive donations of gifts in kind that help us make the Camp’s facility, activities and programs truly extraordinary for our campers.  Gifts in kind are defined as gifts of assets such as automobiles, furniture, electronics, and other items that have been determined by appropriate camp representatives to be of use to the Camp. United Way Donor's Choice

You can designate Dragonfly Forest for your United Way contribution. Our Donor’s Choice Number is 45639. To those of you who have designated Dragonfly Forest for their United Way contribution, we thank you.

Bequests (Include Dragonfly Forest in you Will)

You can provide for Dragonfly Forest through your estate. There are many easy, planned-giving options from which you can choose:

• Make a planned gift by naming Dragonfly Forest as a beneficiary in your Will or by naming Dragonfly Forest as owner and beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
• Make a planned gift to Dragonfly Forest and receive an income for life through the establishment of a charitable trust that names Dragonfly Forest as a beneficiary.  Your attorney can advise you of the various types of charitable trusts and the estate tax benefits of each, and assist you in setting up a planned gift that is tailored to your personal needs. You also may want to talk with your attorney or financial advisor about the tax benefits of naming Dragonfly Forest as a beneficiary of your retirement plans.
• One of the easiest ways to make a planned gift to Dragonfly Forest is by leaving a bequest in your Will. There are several ways you can do this.
• Give a specific amount of money to Dragonfly Forest or give a specified percentage of the residue of your estate to Dragonfly Forest (the residue of your estate is that which is left over after all specific gifts have been made, whether charitable or non-charitable).
• Designate your gift for a specific purpose, such as the Endowment Fund, or for unrestricted use.
• The following simple language can be used to make your gift:

  A bequest may be included in the body of a will or as an amendment (codicil). Gifts made through a bequest typically provide an estate tax deduction.
